Qantas has once again dropped the price of their flights from Ottawa to cities in Australia, this time down to between $787 and $807 CAD roundtrip including taxes!

1. Try a Google Flights search like this one...

^^^ look for the dates that are $892 roundtrip in January (very limited), February, March, April, May, June (very limited), August, September, October
Google Flights: Ottawa to Brisbane, Australia (BNE)
^^^ look for the dates that are $891 roundtrip in January (very limited), February, March, April, May, August, September
Google Flights: Ottawa to Melbourne, Australia (MEL)
^^^ look for the dates that are $877 roundtrip in January (very limited), February, March, April, May, June, late July, August, September, October
- click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations
- look for the dates that are somewhere between $877 and $892 roundtrip.
2. Go to Momondo or Flighthub or Kayak
- search for a flight from Ottawa (YOW) to...
Sydney (SYD)
or
Brisbane (BNE)
or
Melbourne (MEL)
- use the same dates you found on Google Flights
- the price on Momondo or Flighthub will usually be around $75 to $150 cheaper than what you see on Google Flights.
3. NOTE: When your Momondo search is complete, you may want to use the 'Duration' slider on the left and set the Flight Leg slider to around 28, to get rid of any really long flights.
ALSO NOTE: Watch out for the flights that require an airport change in New York City. Avoid those.
